With a voice similar to the Janis Joplin of past and a more soulful anti-Ellie Goulding sound that would make Terry Gordy blush, the D.C. native is a refreshing voice in a genre that is in need of a new sound. And today her single “It Won’t Be Long” is EXACTLY what is need.
