Voiceless Music Awards

The logo of the 2016 edition of the #IndieVMAs

The Voiceless Music Awards was the brainchild of Voiceless Music's owner DJ Mainstream to honor the top viewed artists promoted via our website. The idea was to recognize artist by awarding them their first ever award, or an additional award, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Starting in January of 2013, the Voiceless Music Awards, or affectionately named #IndieVMAs, became a staple of the independent music scene throughout the world starting within New York City.

In our early years, the awards we're limited to being announced on the blog itself with 2013's winner being Mr2TheP and 2014's winner being Shawn Rock. But it was in 2015, when we held our first live edition of the show from Blackthorn 51 in Queens, that started the movement.

See the full Voiceless Music Awards history and list of previous winners below.
