Before the multi-album deal with Shady Records, before the clothing line & energy drink, before signing Olivia, Hot Rod, Young Buck and others, it was just 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks & Tony Yayo. Back when he was a unsigned artist, 50 Cent was a upcoming rapper from Southside Jamaica, Queens. Then he drop a independent album that put him on the map, "Guess Who's Back". One song that always stood out to us was today's throwback Thursday, that showed that unity between 3 friends who we're nothing but MCs looking to make it out the hood. Here's "That's What's Up" featuring Tony Yayo & Lloyd Banks.
