CP has kept himself busy over the past
few months through appearances (including on radio with our Pulse
Of New York), performances across New York and Georgia, and in other avenues.
But all these moves have been necessary so he can spread the word of his newest
project, a mixtape aptly titled , The Only Way Is Up
Considering this is a follow up to Authorized Personnel Only,
it seems CP has evolved between the releases. With a fully decked production
from Brazil-native (L.A. resident) M8 Beats, it seems the chemistry is bold and
brash, which is evident on such bangers as “Jungle” and “Fortune”. But in rare
cases with rap artist, especially those in the trap lane, CP has no problem
switching styles while still applying to the catchy nature of the current
Hip-Hop scene. Example? Our choice for surefire radio hit, and subsequently
breakout single, “Just One Night” featuring Big Busghi & Shawn Giftz.
