You would think something like this should go unmentioned right? Well... not in this industry which is why I am here to address the fuckery. Biting the hand that feeds you is a saying that has been around for quite a long time. It means that the person who is helping you or over you in some capacity is the last person you should be mean, disrespectful or negative toward in any way. It naturally came from a scenario where a dog bit his owner.
Now I'm not calling anyone a dog so all of you sensitive ass people reading this can have several seats. I am simply saying if you know someone is and or has looked out for your best interest while aiding, assisting or contributing to your needs/wants why would you turn on them? This is an act that is usually irreversible. The person who you bit will more than likely withdraw any and all help that they originally gave leaving you stuck or worse.
There can be a few reasons as to why one would "bite the hand". One reason is that sometimes people become very forgetful of what a person or people has done for them. When they bite the hand its not so much intentional because they have a slight bit of amnesia of when that person/people stuck their necks out for them. Another reason could be that the person suddenly feels superior for whatever reason. When this happens you see that person trying to flex on anyone to prove to people that they got the juice now. Trying this on the person who's been aiding you this whole time is a no no because they are the ones who can and probably will put you back in check.
Be mindful who's been in your corner because when you try to act big or forget all they've done for you they will have no problem reminding you what time it is... especially if they are petty like me. You been warned!
