Jayo The Beatslayer - I Will Never Stop (EP Review)

One of the most underrated lyrical MCs in the game today, Jayo The Beatslayer is on a quest to get to 300 shows this year and has been keeping pace since the beginning of 2017. But with the year wrapping up, the former BET Freestyle Friday guest has been leaning on his classics "DR With A Bad Chick" and "I Got It Made"... until now. 

 With 6 tracks in full, I Will Never Stop is Jayo's introduction into changing the adage of beating the stereotype... yes, this rapper with bars can make music! Evidence: the standout tracks "I Will Never Stop, your 9am motivational going to work banger and "One Shot", your 10am workout song ready to fight all obstacles in front of you. To us, these are The Beat's major upgrades to the MC's previous work. 



This also holds truth to the song currently under WVMR rotation, our bonafide hit "I'm In Control" which turns the camera and attention on America in a conscious manner with a play on mainstream music with a very upbeat instrumental.

A combination of unique and cleverness, I Will Never Stop may go over most traditional music heads but is our choice for 2017's most slept on project.
