Chyna Streetz x On The Radar - VISIONS (EP Review)

It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since we've featured Chyna Streetz on this blog, but yet during that time, the uncrowned queen has been on her hustle. From international tours to features across multiple media outlets, Chyna has been busy. But not too busy to deliver this 3-course meal, VISIONS.

In collaboration with the rising media company On The Radar, Chyna uses this EP to Lebron flex on after a fastbreak jam. Evidence: the fire starter opening track "REALMS" which casually sees Chy glides across a very smooth jazz-style rap beat that seemingly was created for the native New Yorker.

"Not Gillie but I got million dollars worth of game"

The follow-up "TULIPS" continued Chyna's drift across sounds that just... fit. Laced with a simple concept of tending to your own shit versus dealing with the outside noise, Streetz cultivates a florist's dozen with this lesson-giving record.

But for the old head in me who enjoys a great classic sample, Chyna feeds my need with "BLISS"... a silencer-loaded shot to the game giving me nothing but Kim and Foxy vibes. By the end of the 2 minutes and 27 seconds, the reality hits that the project is done...

Yes, Chyna may have served with this EP, but it leaves them wanting more. And time will tell if we get it, but for long-time fans, you know what's coming.... IYKYK.
