We've known about Queens, NY native Ru$ Grey for quite some time. Breaking out on BlakkMoney / Signature Series stage two years ago, the buzz began to rise after some freestyles started to trend at a few radio stations and a feature on SpecialT 's hit single "New Attitude". But now priming himself for a BREAKOUT year of his own, 2019 is looking like lunch as Ru$ begins a campaign he calls #OneTakeWednesday, which were calling the true kickstart for him into conversation as an underrated MC on the underground scene. Another month, another playlist.  Last month, we went Utica deep with R&B chills and Rap Heat. This month, we bring the exact same vibes from all around New York.   DJ Tiff Dollaz introduced  Artist of the Month to the platform. This artist will be nominated by staff, voted by the people, and will lead our playlist for the month. This month winner is Nazzy , an independent artist from Utica, who dropped a new album called Autumn's Calling in August and has been getting a ton of traction! He leads this month playlist for us.   Remember, the purpose of this playlist is to introduce you guys to these artists. Independent music often lacks one essential thing when releasing visuals.. a story line . No matter how elaborate the story line may be seeing an artist do more than just standing in different locations rapping along to their song is a nice change!  The newest artistry is brought to you by SpecialT and Ru$ Grey in the video for their single " New Attitude ". Though the majority of the video is a tradition independent showing, personally I find the most engaging part to be the beginning and end of the video. The cameo by Voiceless Music owner, John Ari Caul ,   is a nice touch as well.  The video doesn't fail to exceed expectations when compared to the single itself.
