It's too often that we have said during this pandemic that the music industry of the world has kept their best under wraps. But when it's time to release it to the masses, it's about bringing heat heading into 2021. And with much preparation Voiceless Music Awards nominee Hookz Murdock returns to the forefront. Throughout 2019 into 2020, the incomparable Hookz has been rolling with his Dutch Treats companion Enonomous releasing a hit project and droppings some of the most visually impressive flicks we've seen. But shifting back solo while devising Love And Other Drugs , Hookz returns to his 'office' with a new freestyle and brings us his new visual straight from the mailroom.  With the impactful sentence: 'just like Dunder Mifflin, make sure that paper is right', Hookz brings us the visual to his "Dunder Mifflin Freestyle". The formation of the super duo Dutch Treats didn't surprise many within the independent New York City music scene. But it's the high level of music they have developed and release is what has people with eyes on what the project may deliver. And with Snack Pack Vol 1. officially released , the duo of H ookz Murdock and Enonomous celebrate on finally bringing the greatness to the masses with their next single and it's accompanying visual.  Giving us nothing but Director X vibes in this action packed, 2000s vibe visual, Dutch Treats link with label mate Jerry Milo  for today's feature "Motorola". Hookz Murdock has delivered on the past 2 years with music. Multi-nominated, the MC has been letting his cape fly being ‘the hero’ we’ve been looking for. All he asked was 22 minutes of our time, and he sure as hell made it count. So with Hookz Murdock 's new project, summed up version of his ongoing dedication to Thanos and The Avengers: Infinity War , Gauntlet is a rare occurrence of an artist hitting the nail on the head TWICE on what a concept project should be on a independent scene. With "Mind" and "Space" already enjoyed by the masses,  Hookz has truly tapped in the essence of what the real gems itself mattered to the mad titan and place them strategically in musical form. But the most impressive on this is the song, or gem known as "Reality" that not only impresses with his feature (major shoutout to Jerry Milo ) but both put a little reality in to the game... this track and project can never be done again... It's been a long time since we've heard of this project but we know it was coming... and on one faithful Monday afternoon, Hookz Murdock drops the much anticipated The Adventures Of...  Off the bat, the track "The Hero" sets up for the big debut as one of the most triumphant introduction on a mixtape. And while performance  favorites "Hal Jordan" and "Flight" are automatic standouts, for us it's Hookz uncanny like an X-Man to vibe on two different styles.  First, the Juanito Jones-produced "Nelson & Murdock" which distinctly shows off Hookz very diverse vocabulary and rhyme style alongside the much accomplished Frank Knight . And finally, the standout "S.O.T.C." which is not only better than most mainstream singles but have the bounce deserving to be on mainstream radio. Over the course of a year, Hookz Murdock has been relegated as one of the most herald artist on the independent scene. A former Voiceless Music showcase and multi-showcase winner across New York City, the "Hal Jordan" MC seemingly has had all of us on edge for his body of work...  So October 9 seems to be the date of the release of  one of the most anticipated projects on the scene, The Adventures Of... The 2017 Voiceless Music Awards  goes down in 5 days... August 29, 2017 live from  Amarachi Lounge  in Brooklyn, NY featuring an exclusive opening performance from  2-time Voiceless Music Awards  winners  Sativa Sensei, Siano, Yung Low, Motive  and  Star Qualified: SQMG! And to prepare we are doing  5  cyphers leading up to the epic show featuring  WVMR  radio shows:  Darkside Radio, Lyve Lyfe Radio, a special cypher from SQMG, The Daily Talk  and today's feature...
