As Friday’s release of Army Of Two draws closer, Star Qualified continues to place their stamp on the game as one of the most talented rap duos in music. But enlisting a name we haven’t heard from years in Drama Queen , delivers this unexpected mainstream bop that should at least wet the palette before the release. With a song NOT EVEN FEATURED ON THE PROJECT , Star Qualified drops “Oh Shit”.

Yesterday,  Voiceless Music  boss  DJ Mainstream  once again continued to get the underground music scene talking as he release the next two of the seven upcoming video announcements of the 14 categories for the  2019 Voiceless Music Awards ! Featuring the  SQUAD of the Year ... Voiceless Music  once again looks to be the talk of the town with the assistance of  Every Dollar Counts  own  Notes  developing these videos. Next Monday, we continue with the next category dropping that morning! Multi-time Voiceless Music Awards winner Star Qualified are back again as the prepare for the release of their latest project, Army of Two .  But with several rumors going around on who will be featured on the project (more than likely members of the supergroup SQMG ), KB Major and Princely are ready to put what they feel is their best body of work yet. To back that up, 'Salem & Rios' releases the visual for the first single from the mixtape featuring their in-house rising star Sativa Sensei .  It's all green light from here as we bring you "Go". 

Another month, another playlist.  Last month, New York was repped heavy all throughout our playlist. This month we take it all over the United States.  While due to our  website  being hacked, a new   Artist of the Month   was not chosen for our platform.  Unfortunately, this concept will be placed on a brief hold. But we've been able to start a new playlist with the help of our very own DJ Cool Chellz ! Its been a while (July 2017) since we've got some new Star Qualified content but it's for good reason. With Army of Two promo is on the way, the 3-time winning members of the SQUAD of the Year has primed for this moment.  A lot of people in the independent scene has been slowly calling for the end of their careers. But no longer to looking to remain humble, Princely and KB Major can only wish worse on their enemies.... In some of their more darker videos and clever lyricism, SQ drops the visual to "Die Slow" below.

With another Voiceless Music Award under their belt (their 4th in total), Star Qualified is riding high on success. But it wasn't always like that for the Bronx duo.  Speaking on old situations, friends, family and the obvious haters, while going back in the archives by working with long time producer Billz Diggler , SQ releases one of the singles off their collaborative project.  Check out the very personal video to "Here I Go" below.

With long time producer Billz Diggler on the beat, Star Qualified gets back to their storytelling which put them on the radar as one of the rising stars on the independent scene.  But with the upcoming Voiceless Music Awards show, SQ goes back into the archives to speak on those who came before including a certain record deal that went south... With the lights of Amarachi Lounge on bright, the 2016 Voiceless Music Awards was live and in effect as all the nominees, presenters, and the illustrious radio shows on WVMR was present! And while the lights were on bright, SQMG stood tall as the Bronx natives once again claimed the SQUAD (Best Group/Label) Award once again while snatching up the Video Of The Year award! But it was ICMG/2 Deep who saw JR take home Vocalist of the Year and MC Kony Brooks who came home with not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 Voiceless Music Awards as he sets the record for most one night wins missing the Breakout Artist award which was won by Special T .  Check out the full results below at our History of Voiceless Music Awards link! Re-branding can be key for most brands and artists; mainly due to having fresh eyes on you and a name/logo that people can get behind, there is a chance to introduce new fans to a vibe you've always had.  That is specifically key for Sound by North , the brand of long standing producer D-1 who looks to take his already established name into a household music staple as he links with Bronx natives Star Qualified for what we call "light work". With Guess Who's Back slowly becoming Fyrious Stylez best project to date based off the rumored collaborations. With MadeinTYO steadily rising up the Billboard charts with the ever-growing buzz single "Uber Everywhere” . But even as Major Royalty 4 already out, Yano’s World Pt. 2 c oming soon and yet to be named project dropping soon, Star Qualified, Siano and Yung Low wasn’t going to pass up a chance to do their own version of the hit single. What’s growing into NYC’s latest movement with these MCs, this may be the first of many collaborative tracks. Check it out below.

Star Qualified has been grinding throughout 2015 just to get to the drop of their newest mixtape, Major Royalty 4 . Off the bat, you can tell from the 1st edition until now, SQ has greatly improved on wordplay and chosen the right rhythm to fit not only their signature infectious club sound (such as on “So Bad” ) to their superior female dedications (such as on “No Better” ). But while fighting the typical judgments from critics that they only do‘trap music’, the 2015 Voiceless Music Awards winners switch it up with songs like “Sunshine” featuring longtime collaborator E11even and the even more braggadocios “Take It There” featuring Yung Low which takes a few unexpected shots to the independent industry.
