Voiceless Corner: CrazySexyCool: TLC Movie Trailer & VH1 Festival Performance

Voiceless Music is ooh on the TLC tip! When the world heard about a bio pic of the legendary TLC done on TV, a lot of mix reaction came from it. Then Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer and the controversial Lil' Mama was casted and their was even more reaction, negative and positive, but the interest peaked. Then the trailer dropped and we think the casting was spot on. More after the jump.

Truwordz - Poncho Nueve 72 Freestyle (Dir. by Chris 'Hanzo' Elliott)

When it comes to rap or hip-hop being fused with skating, people seem to automatically look at Lil' Wayne or even Pharrell. But the indy scene is doing it too, some way before the Hip-Hop heavyweights. Want an example? Introducing New York's Jamaica Queens' Skate 4 Self movement and it's proud spokesperson Poncho, better known to our community as Truwordz. Check out his introduction of the movement and his on point freestyle below. We hope to hear more.

Young Wolf - Owe Em This (feat. 2wo 1ne)

Usually, we tell ballers to stick to ballin' on the court, but then again after Shaq did his thing (and tried to do it again) and Jewelz (Allen Iverson) failed to even put anything out, the new kids in the game are taking shape.  After a successful release of his mix tape, Post 90s , late last year, 2wo 1ne (better known as NY Knicks Guard Iman Shumpert) has been popping up on features. Today, we give you his feature alongside fellow Chicago native Young Wolf. We approve this message. Download now.

Soundcloud Sunday: Suzie Soprano

Recently, Diddy's new TV venture Revolt, tweeted "where are the female rappers?". Well, we got one and today she's our Soundcloud Sunday honoree, Suzie Soprano. A well versed MC, Soprano is looking to gain noteriatry the old school way: not with fancy hair, voice changing or with over the top lyrics... just straight to the point lines and murdering instrumentals. Speaking of murder, its how we came across her "Versace Remix" which is below, then she surprised us on "Ugh" and really showed her versatility on "Bad Remix". Take a listen and link up with her below.  Soundcloud Sunday: Suzie Soprano Twitter

Rex Rodri - RREP (Mixtape)

DMV is home to many rappers in the Hip-Hop game but none is as unique as Rex Rodri. Today, he dropped his first studio tape RREP , which is as unique as him.  The tracks from this tape which, in our opinion, the premier two "radio sound" cuts, "On Top" which is dedication to his girlfriend and how well she rolls his weed (yes, we said it), and "Ndstrctbl" [pronounced 'indestructable'] which your high octane, high pressure club track which is sure to shake some blocks this summer. But the true stand out from this tape is "Blow". This track shows not only is above par lyricism but his personality as he faults his love for the world 'fuck'. Independent MC's struggle finding themselves with their music but this song defines Rex's place in Hip-Hop Take a listen to the tracks below and make sure to download it as well. Voiceless Spotlight: Mac Lethal Remakes "N*ggas In Paris" Then Kills His Own Creation

DJ Mainstream here with a new segment I'm calling Voiceless Spotlight, put a little spotlight on unsigned and independent music artist I personally think you should know about.  Now, my wrestling heads would get this but back in the mid 2000's Vince McMahon (of World Wrestling Entertainment) storyline wise lost his company to Hall of Famer Ric Flair. This prompted him to bring in the NWO to "kill his own creation". That is exactly what Mac Lethal did... just with hair products. Then he lyrically assaulted the beat. Don't understand a word I am saying? See the video below and enjoy.

A Minute With Mainstream: Velous' "Velocity" Album Listening Party

It's a hot summer night in New York City. Not the 100 degree weather we've been facing but humidity barely does me justice. Tonight, a blessed select few of us (photographers, videographers, bloggers, DJs) was allowed to be the guest one of the young up and comers in the game who hitting a true milestone in his career: an album listening party for the people. And to top it all of, its at the Godfather of Hip-Hop P. Diddy's Daddy's House Recording Studio in Midtown Manhattan .  That he is Velous, who graced us with his presence in a very Michael Jackson-esque shirt with a bold black V so you don't forgot who he is. He walks across the room admiring the turnout but making sure us media types get to snap some pictures. For me, it was like watching Tyson walking in the ring for the first time: he was here, you knew he was a star, you had to pay attention. In the beginning of the event, we were blessed with Amanda (Di
