2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards, hosted by everyone's uncle Snoop Dogg, where filmed out in LA last night and like every year, the buzz is not about the awards... but about the freestyles. Of course there are the big names we hear of that will have cypher segments: Slaughterhouse, TDE, A$AP Mob and even the Real Husbands Of Hollywood. But the stand out group is what we are bringing you today. Coined as the "Digital All-Stars", BET graces us with the video of indy vet Problem, his frequent collaborator Bad Lucc, former X-Factor contestant Astro & Philly newcomer Asia Sparks. Enjoy!

Last week Thursday, it was Imperious Day with the release of DJ Mainstream's Imperious Gan Vol. 1 On Voiceless Music Radio, DJ Mainstream brought in Goodswag Milano, Nova, Siano, and Prince Smith (who called in), to assist him to celebrate this day with him. With pure samples from the 1920's, Gany Gambino drops The Last Recession . This 7 track mixtape/EP has some of the smoothest Hip-Hop sounds we haven't heard since early Wu-Tang but Gambino turns it into his own version of grimey life. We already bump "Valentines Day Massacre" here at Voiceless Music but its the hood anthem "Haters" that gives us the closest thing to early D.I.T.C and Fat Joe than any independent artist has in recent memory. With the emergence of Siano, T-Life, and Nova on this blog, Queens is starting to create a strong buzz on the independent scene. Now, Shadyville rep Louie Da 13th is back... no really he's back with his new video produced by Ladarius Winns. We can only hope he's coming all the way back with a new tape soon but let's wait and see.  Streets is watching.

After taking over Voiceless Music Radio, Firehowse went right back to work and decided to drop Shawn Rock's debut album cover "DNA" which is coming early 1st quarter 2014.  With the looks of it, Rock was not lying when he said this music is in his blood! The album's first single, "Tuxedo Flow", will be on iTunes next Thursday.

When a new artist come from the South, you automatically think of T.I. early days, a lot of trap sounds and hard 80s that shake a trunk. But then ATLien Supa Kali comes and screws up your whole mentality. Who The Fuck Is Supa Kali? is not what you expect. Tracks like "C'est La Vie" (a French term translated to 'so is life') shows not only versatility but a originality needed in music as it reminds of being in Kill Bill movie with a Cadillac.
